With Ranveer Singh, one can always expect unexpected. Be it dazzling audiences with his performances, flaunting a colourful fashion sense, the actor’s subtlety and quirks both make headlines. While his love for wife Deepika Padukone is well-known, his effusive display of affection is visible otherwise too. Fans sometimes are lucky to witness this side, when he poses for selfies or indulges in fun moments with them. However, his affection is not just restricted to his ladylove or his fans, even his co-stars often experience this. One such co-star was Gully Boy’s MC Sher aka Siddant Chaturvedi, who revealed that his display of affection was almost like a ‘make-out session’ once. The actor revealed that once they went a bit intense with hugs and kisses, but it was more like making out ‘emotionally.’

During a recent appearance on Neha Dhupia-hosted No Filter Neha season 4, Siddhant revealed that emotions ran too high between the two at a screening of their hit film, Gully Boy. The actor shared, "We had a different moment. He hugged me and I have cried, he has kissed me, he has hugged me. Proper make-out session in middle of PVR Juhu. Yes, I have emotionally made out with Ranveer Singh."

Ranveer and Siddhant had both played rappers in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. Their 'moment' seems to be one of those after they watched the film together. They were not the only ones who reacted with intense emotions after experiencing the movie, since majority of the critics and fans too shared the same opinion after the movie. It also seemed to be the case with the jury as the movie was selected as India’s official entry for the Oscars for next year.

Ranveer also helped Siddhant during the filming of the movie.  "He aces every accent, he aces every body language. So, that's something that I learnt from him. I had a different voice, I had a different lingo in this film so I used to take notes from him. I was like how do you do it? So he told me 'you keep recording on your voice memo whenever you are reading it out and you keep trying variations in that. And maintain consistency, bro. Be careful of that'," Siddhant shared about his experience on Gully Boy

A fan much before

Siddhant’s love for Ranveer, however, started much before that, when a college-goer got inspired by a debutant. "I remember watching Band Baaja Baaraat when I was in college. That time it was Yash Raj launching a new boy. I'm looking at him and I am really inspired because he has just made it solely on his talent and his vision. We don't see his intelligent side much, but, you know he is very intelligent and he's very disciplined. He's just amazing."
