The IPL fever is on and looks like the film fraternity is equally heated up for the same. Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh seems to be extremely happy as all-rounder Yuvraj Singh joined the Mumbai Indians.

The IPL fever is on and looks like the Bollywood fraternity is equally heated up for the same. As the Mumbai Indians managed to bag several star players this year, the supporters have been cheering for the team. Joining the bandwagon was Bollywood star Ranveer Singh who seems to be extremely happy as all-rounder Yuvraj Singh joined the Mumbai Indians. Expressing his excitement, the actor took to Twitter and shared Mumbai Indians' post confirming Yuvraj's arrival. He captioned the post saying, "OUUUH YIEEEAH!!!!!"

Yuvraj Singh who initially played for 'Kings Eleven Punjab' will be now donning the Mumbai Indian's blue jersey as he goes on the field. The IPL 2019 auction took place in Jaipur on Tuesday and Mumbai Indians roped the player for this season at his base price of Rs 1 crore. A total of 60 players were sold in the auction including 40 Indians and 20 overseas.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer is currently busy promoting her upcoming film 'Simmba'.  It is directed by Rohit Shetty and is an official adaptation of Jr NTR-starrer Telugu film 'Temper'. It narrates the story of a corrupt cop Simmba who enjoys being a corrupt cop and takes full advantage of its lifestyle until one day his loved ones are hurt. He eventually finds himself transforming and is forced to choose a more righteous path. Beside Ranveer Singh, the film also stars Bollywood newbie Sara Ali Khan, Sonu Sood, Siddharth Jadhav and Ashutosh Rana in the lead roles. The film is produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions and is all set to hit the theatres on December 28, 2018. 

On the personal front, Ranveer Singh tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Deepika Padukone on November 14 and 15. The couple has been in a party spree since then as they have hosted several reception bashes in Bangalore and Mumbai.
