Bollywood's powerhouse Ranveer Singh has wrapped up the first schedule of his upcoming flick 'Simmba'.The 'Padmaavat' star plays the role of a police inspector, Sangram Bhalerao, in the Rohit Shetty-directorial.
One of the team members took to Instagram and announced the same, writing,
"And it's a wrap!! What an incredible first schedule!! So many beautiful memories...New friends! and an end result which is already beyond words! Can't wait to share this journey with everyone #simmba #28december."
The film, a remake of 2015 Telugu blockbuster 'Temper,' will mark the debut of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan.
Reports suggest that the team shot at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad initially before moving across other locations. The Rohit Shetty directorial also stars Sonu Sood and Ashutosh Rana. Ajay Devgn is also set to make a special appearance in 'Simmba'. The film which is slated to hit screens on December 28, 2018.
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh has wrapped up the shoot for 'Gully Boy' opposite Alia Bhatt which is based on the story of real-life street rappers Divine and Naezy from Mumbai's Dharavi slum and he is currently busy with Rohit Shetty''s 'Simmba' opposite Sara Ali Khan in which he will play a cop. Ranveer shared the pictures of a luxurious watch which Shetty gifted him as his pre-birthday gift.
On the personal front, Ranveer is all set to tie the knot with Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone and reportedly their marriage will take place on November 19, 2018, in Italy.
Deepika and Ranveer shared screen space for the first time in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Goliyon Ki Rasleela, Ramleela' in 2013. Following which, they went on to give blockbuster hits like 'Bajirao Mastaani' (2015) and their last release 'Padmaavat'(2017).
