Reliving Parent's Death Was The Most Difficult Part: Sunny Leone

Sunny Leone revealed that the most difficult part for her while shooting her biopic was when the makers recreated her parent's death.

Bollywood star Sunny Leone opens up about her experience shooting her biopic web series 'Karenjit Kaur: the Untold Story'. While addressing a press conference following the launch of the second season of the series, the actress revealed that the most difficult part for her while shooting her biopic was when the makers recreated her parent's death. She said that it was extremely painful for her to relive her parent's death.  She said it was the biggest challenge for her control herself in that situation. Although it was a part of the series, she said her feelings were real. 

"If there is anybody in the audience who has lost their mom or dad, they will understand what it feels like. You bury the sorrow and you heal from the situation. Yes, they are not my parents but the feelings are real" ANI quoted the 'Ek Paheli Leela' actress as saying.

The 'Jism 2' actress who considers family as the most important thing said that the best and most important phase of her life is the time she spent with her family. "Working comes and goes, people come and go but when you have a family, and since I lost mine, a lot of the family moments that are in my life, is the most important thing for me," she said. 

However, the actress seemed to be very connected with the actors who played her reel life family. She said that her on-screen mother, Grusha Kapoor reminded her of her own mother. She took to Instagram and praised the Kapoor for her acting and said, "The woman @grushakapoor24who had the enormous task of filling the shoes of a woman I miss will all my heart and soul. Every time I saw her my heart would break seeing my mother in her character. Truly an amazing actress!"

 

She also praised actor Bijay Anand who is playing the role of her father and extended her gratitude. Positing a snap from the series on Instagram, Sunny wrote, "Such an amazing journey with the amazing actor who played my father in #karenjitkaur @bijayanand I can’t express enough gratitude for what you have done!! @zee5 @namahpictures @freshlimefilms"

The actress also opened up about her marriage with husband Daniel Weber and said that her marriage is very important to her. She also spoke about her daughter Nisha and said that getting her was the most amazing moment in her life. In July 2017, Sunny and husband Daniel adopted a girl-Nisha from an orphanage in Latur, Maharashtra and this year she celebrated her first home-coming anniversary.
