REVEALED: The Poster Of Emraan Hashmi Starrer 'Cheat India'

'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' actor Emraan Hashmi who was last seen in 'Welcome To New York' recently took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter to share the poster of his upcoming movie, 'Cheat India'. Buzz is that the film is slated to release on January 25, 2019, and will clash at the box office with the Hrithik Roshan starrer 'Super 30'. Reports suggest that both the films talk about the education India. 'Cheat India' is helmed by Soumik Sen. Although, the Emraan Hashmi starrer talks about the education system of the country that has been accused of plagiarism, while the latter is a biopic, based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar. 'Cheat India' is a remake of the movie 'Marksheet' as claimed by the filmmaker-actor duo Dinesh Gautam and Imran Zahid. Hashmi will be seen sharing screen space with Shreya Dhanwanthary in 'Cheat India'. The movie is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series.

As per reports, Emraan Hashmi is very excited for the film, as he believes that the script and the title of 'Cheat India' are extremely powerful. The film is said to be for every Indian student who is under pressure to perform his/her utmost best in exams and will be highly relatable to most of the students in the country. Previously, the actor had also shared the logo for his upcoming movie 'Cheat India'. Along with the logo unveiled by the actor, the post also asked the question “#NakalMeinHiAkalHai Do you agree? Stay tuned to find out!”.

WHAT IS NEXT FOR EMRAAN HASHMI 

Along with 'Cheat India' the actor has other projects lined up in his kitty. He will be seen in the Netflix Original, 'The Bard of Blood' that has eight episodes and is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment. Starring as the lead character of the show, the web series is said to be based on Bilal Siddiqi’s bestselling novel. Bilal has also co-authored Emraan Hashmi's autobiography 'The Kiss of Life' in 2016. The 'Baadshaho' actor will also portray the role of detective Suryakant Bhande Patil in 'Father's Day', who had solved around 120 kidnapping cases without a fee. Adding to the list of upcoming movies is an untitled project with director Kunal Deshmukh. The actor-director duo's last release was 'Raja Natwarlal' which released in 2014.
