'Jalebi' presented by Mahesh Bhatt and Vishesh films gets a release date

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has announced the release of his next film 'Jalebi'. Presented by him and Vishesh Films, and directed by Pushpdeep Bhardwaj, the movie releases on October 12. The film starring Rhea Chakraborty and debutante Varun Mitra is the tale of an everlasting love. Announcing the release date along with the first look poster of the film, Mahesh Bhatt wrote, "In this changing shifting world where the old stories have collapsed and no new story has yet emerged to replace them comes a story of everlasting love. Here is the #JalebiPoster. @sonymusicindia @Viacom18Movies @VisheshFilms"

In the first look poster, Rhea Chakraborty is seen leaning out from the emergency window of an express train to kiss Varun Mitra, while the onlookers stare at them in amusement.

Filmmaker Karan Johar appreciating the songs from the film, wrote, "Just heard all the songs from @visheshfilms upcoming film #Jalebi and I must say I’m absolutely spellbound! Kudos to #MukeshBhatt & @MaheshNBhatt for creating such magic time and again! @sonymusicindia"

Earlier in March, Mahesh Bhatt had introduced the cast of the film ahead of the filming, which began on March 21. 'Jalebi' marks the Bollywood debut of TV actress Digangana Suryavanshi after starring in TV shows like 'Qubool Hai', 'Veera' and reality show Bigg Boss. Sharing a picture with the entire gang, Mahesh wrote, “The future is here!!!
