Rishi Kapoor-Neetu Kapoor unveil Anupam Kher’s autobiography in USA, get special praise from author

After acting, writing, direction, producing, TV hosting, and setting up an acting school, the latest feather in the cap of Anupam Kher was the launch of his autobiography. The veteran unveiled his life story ‘Lessons Life Taught Me Unknowingly’ in USA and present with him was close friend and co-star of many movies, Rishi Kapoor. Kher described Kapoor as a ‘real life hero’ while conveying his gratitude to the ‘Agneepath’ star for his ‘magnanimity.’ He also thanked Neetu Kapoor for her grace.

Star-studded launch 

Kher on Saturday launched his book at the Consulate General of India in New York. Apart from Rishi Kapoor, his actor-wife Neetu Kapoor was also present at the gathering. The veteran shared numerous pictures on social media, addressing the audience and posing with the Kapoor couple, all with the newly-launched book in their hands. 

He tweeted, “It was pure joy, love, warmth & happiness at the launch of my autobiography in  @IndiainNewYork. Thank you @chintskap for your magnanimity. You are a real life HERO too. #NeetuKapoor for your grace.” 

Kher also wrote on Instagram, “It was really a dream launch for my autobiography #LesonsLifeTaughtMeUnknowingly in New York.”

Rishi Kapoor is currently in New York for his treatment for cancer. The veteran actor is responding well to treatment and is expected to come back to India soon. 

Kher stands like a rock for Kapoors 

Kher was one of the most frequent visitors to Rishi Kapoor, apart from the who’s who of Bollywood, who called on him in New York.

Recently, Neetu had captioned a snap with Rishi Kapoor and Anupam Kher as, “Always a pleasure spending time with Anupam 🥰 he has been a great support all thru🙏” 

Meanwhile, Kher had termed an interaction with the Kapoor couple as, “It was as always wonderful and inspirational to spend a beautiful evening with my friends @neetu54 and #RishiKapoor. Both of them are a great example of human endurance and triumph. Road to recovery, both, physical & mental is faster if there is love, care and determination. Well done. Jai Ho.🙏”
