Cristiano Ronaldo will take the field on Friday night as his Portugal open their World Cup 2018 campaign against 2010 winners Spain. Meanwhile, less than a day later, his great rival Lionel Messi will get his own World Cup going as Argentina face Iceland.

It is more than likely that the two greats will be playing their final World Cups, as Ronaldo is 33 and Messi, while three years younger, has already once retired from international football.

However, even as football fans around the world are looking forward to what could be the climactic showdown at the zenith of the greatest rivalry the sport has ever seen, back in India, Tiger Shroff is showing that he has achieved an entirely different level in the sport!

The Student of the Year 2 actor has posted a video where he's taking part in an old-fashioned crossbar-challenge. Tiger Shroff kicks things off with an X-Pac style mixed-martial-arts spinning-heel-kick and sends the ball careening into the crossbar. His challenger strikes the rebounding ball clean and true, though in a traditional no-frills manner. As it comes back, Tiger hits a backflip shot, once again striking the goal's frame. Again, however, the contender gets his shot in, but finally, Tiger Shroff has had enough. Taking an almighty pirouette, Tiger gives it back to the ball, which strikes the goal-post and then rebounds across the length of the field to strike the camera at the other end!

As a glorious final shot, SOTY2 can be seen looming large over the stadium!

The first Student of the Year also featured football prominently as Varun Dhawan faced off against Sidharth Malhotra. But like Ronaldo and Messi, Varun and Sid had nothing on Shaolin Soccer-inspired Tiger Shroff!
