As the 2019 general elections are right around the corner, the buzz is that Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit Nene might be contesting Lok Sabha elections. However, reacting to the rumour, the actress just had a hearty laugh and asked the media personnel, who was the source, which proves that the ''Total Dhaamal' actress will not be contesting any elections. 

Previously, there was a rumour that Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan will be entering into politics. Clearing the air, the actress denied all such claims and said that she has been approached by none and further clearing the air about her future political career plans, she stated that her focus is only movies.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Madhur Dixit Nene will be seen in 'Total Dhaamal'. The star cast of the film includes Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Sanjay Mishra and Pitobash. 

'Total Dhamaal' is the third film in the comedy entertainer franchise 'Dhamaal.' The comedy flick will hit the big screens on February 22.

Madhuri Dixit made her debut with the film 'Bucket List' in the Marathi film industry, co-starring Renuka Sahane, and Sumeet Raghavan. Although the film did not fare well at the box office, Madhuri was lauded by the critics and the audience for her performance in the film.
