Several controversies have been brewing around Salman Khan's 'LoveYatri'. The film which is produced by Salman Khan's production company, Salman Khan Films, is in trouble despite the change in the title of the film. The makers changed the title of the film which was initially titled 'Loveratri', to 'LoveYatri'. The film will mark Salman's brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma and actress Warina Hussain's debut in Bollywood. However, the film has been subject to controversies wherein members of a certain community took objection over the initial title of the film 'Loveratri' which sounded like the festival of Navratri. As per reports, this became a legal hassle for the makers of the film who then decided to change the title of the film to 'LoveYatri'. However, reports suggest that the complainant was unhappy despite the change in the title and had demanded the film to be banned for according to him, the Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain starrer depicts the lead pair falling in love during the festival on Navratri.

According to the latest development in the controversies surrounding the release of the film, Salman Khan has approached the Supreme Court of India for the threats he has been receiving for his upcoming production 'LoveYatri'. The Supreme Court of India has agreed to hear the matter regarding the same on Thursday, September 27. The Supreme Court of India has stayed the FIRs filed against the makers of the Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain starrer. The Supreme court of India has also said that no more FIRs will be allowed to be fled until the Supreme Court hears the matter.

'LoveYatri' is set in the backdrop of the festival of Navratri. the trailer establishes Arpita Khan's husband, Aayush Sharma's character as a Gujarati Garba teacher from Baroda who falls in love with a non-residential Indian, Warina Hussain. 'LoveYatri' is helmed by Abhiraj Minawala and is written by Naren Bhatt. The film is slated to release on October 5.
