In a recent interview when asked if he’s the most 'celebrated' of the Khans unlike before, Salman replied he didn’t feel so. The actor stated that with God's blessings his choice of films have succeeded of late, but there were times when his decisions, which he was extremely confident about, didn’t work out. The ‘Dabangg’ star added that it needs just one film to make a comeback.

Backing SRK and Aamir amid their recent failures, the  53-year-old asserted that the duo hadn’t chosen bad films and that they were ‘legends’ and would definitely come back. He then said that the two actors know their craft and he has ‘tension’ for himself since people always say they are unsure about him.

Salman then opened up that he’s survived so many years in the industry on the basis of ‘mediocre talent and luck’ and then stated that he himself doesn’t know what has taken him this far in the industry. The actor said that the ups ad downs keep happening, but his ‘tagdi’ (healthy) fan following has helped him over the years.

The ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ star then stated that actors like Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar and the newer lot of stars like Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan and Tiger Shroff are all good and it keeps him on his toes.

He added that maybe it’s luck or destiny and something the filmmakers he works see in him that he doesn’t because of which people continue to pay money to watch him on the big screen, on his shows. The star added that he isn’t aware till when it’d go on this way, but he promised to give his best despite all hurdles physically or mentally.

Salman stated there’s no formula for success in showbiz and that was evident with ‘Tubelight’ not living up to expectations in 2017. The actor stated that the audiences wanted to see a happy film on Eid but went into ‘depression’ with the tragic nature of the film.

The ‘Race 3’ star says today when the movie comes on TV, people love it. He added that the fact that the movie earned Rs 110 crore at the domestic box office despite not doing as well as per expectations, showed that even his ‘flops’ earn money at the box office. Salman expressed gratitude about the blessings coming his way since others' movies don’t even earn that much.
