Rumours of Salman Khan gifting online viral sensation Ranu Mondal a luxury apartment worth Rs 55 Lakhs have been rife for quite some time now.
In a report by a leading media publication, the man behind making Mondal viral, Atindra Chakraborty stated that the news of Salman Khan gifting her a flat is fake and that the local administration where she resides is building a house for her while trying to arrange for an Aadhar card.
After the video of Ranu Mondal went viral, her daughter, Swati managed to find her mother and after the two reconciled, there was a moment of celebration.
For those who are not aware, Ranu Mondal's rendition of Lata Mangeshkar's 'Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai' landed her winning praise from the internet and Bollywood celebrities. Singer Himesh Reshammiya was so impressed that he also had her record a song for his upcoming film, 'Happy Hardy'
Talking about Ranu Mondal, Himesh Reshammiya said that he feels that she is blessed with divinity and said that her voice was so mesmerizing that he could not stop himself from offering her the best he could. Himesh Reshammiya further stated that her voice should reach everyone and he is just offering a platform for the same.
On the professional front, Salman Khan is basking the success of his latest stint, 'Bharat', that raked high numbers at the box office. He will next be seen in 'Dabangg 3' alongside Sonakshi Sinha and was also to star in 'Inshallah' opposite Alia Bhatt, but the film by Sanjay Leela Bhansali was unfortunately shelved.
