Salman Khan's repeated absence in the black buck poaching case irked the judge at the Jodhpur court on Thursday and the actor even stands at a risk to lose his bail if he doesn't appear for the next hearing.
Salman’s lawyers submitted a written apology to the court on Thursday after the actor could not be present for the hearing once again. The judge, however, was not convinced and warned the lawyers that if the 53-year-old doesn’t appear for the next hearing, his bail will be cancelled.
The lawyers assured the court that he will be present for the next hearing without fail. The judge, however, didn’t announce the next date of hearing.
Salman is out on bail in the over-two-decade case since April 7, 2018 after he had spent two nights in the Jodhpur Central Jail. The actor had been convicted and sentenced to five years in jail for the 1998 incident when he allegedly killed two black bucks in Kankani area of Jodhpur. His co-stars of the movie 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' had allegedly accompanied him at the time of the incident, but Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam have been acquitted.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Salman featured in the movie 'Bharat', which was a success at the box office, entering the Rs 200-crore club.
The actor is currently shooting for 'Dabangg 3', which is slated to release on Christmas 2019.
