Salman Khan To Face Ban If He Works With Mika Singh: FWICE

  • The film body has informed that any artist who will now work with Mika Singh, can face a ban
  • This was said in reference to Salman Khan, who is all set to embark on a six-day gig with Mika Singh to the US

Mika Singh has been banned by two film bodies- Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) and All India Cine Workers Association, (AICWA) after his performance in Karachi. While the final verdict of the matter is pending, given the fact that Mika Singh just a day back wrote to the film body requesting that he be allowed to state 'half' his side of the story. 
Recent reports suggest that the federation has zeroed down that if any artist works with Mika Singh, then he/she too shall be banned. The film body was speaking with reference to an upcoming six-city gig in the United States where Salman Khan will be performing with Mika Singh.

The show with Salman Khan is scheduled for next week, wherein Mika Singh will reportedly join him from the Houston leg of the program. The event is said to take place on August 28. Explaining the technicalities of the ban, Ashok Dubey, general secretary, FWICE, SAID, “If we impose a ban, it means all our technicians -- including actors, directors and even spot boys -- will not work with Mika. If someone works with Mika during this ban, say Salman or anyone else, then he to will be banned.”

Mika Singh in a letter to FWICE has sought approval that he be allowed to explain half his story before the film body zeroes down on a decision.  In a one-page document addressed to the President, B.N Tiwari, the artist wrote, "I will conduct with taking the association in confidence and prove what I have done was not intended to hurt any of my fellow Indians, I humbly request not to take any actions against me till I do my clarification and if I have hurt any of my fellow Indians knowingly or unknowingly, I apologize to the whole country"

He also informed that he will be holding a press conference to address the same issue. 


On various occasions, Salman Khan and Mika Singh have performed together. While the artist is all set to meet FWICE today, Salman Khan, on the other hand, is shooting for the Jaipur schedule of 'Dabangg 3'. 

Salman Khan's latest film 'Bharat' performed amazingly well at the box office, and gained rave reviews from audiences and critics.
