It's going to be a huge box-office clash next year as four filmmakers announce their films to be released on Eid 2020 — Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Inshallah', Rohit Shetty's 'Sooryavanshi', Yash Raj Films' 'Shamshera' and SS Rajamoulli's 'RRR'.
Katrina Kaif who recently joined Rohit Shetty's film spoke to a daily about the clash. She said: "Salman loves Akshay, he loves Rohit. He will always be supportive of me in the work place. So, I don’t think he will let his film clash with Sooryavanshi," as quoted.
The film is helmed by Shetty and will go on floors in May 2019, and will release on Eid 2020. The film is said to be the fourth installment in the Shetty-directed cop series
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be seen in 'Bharat'. Talking about working with him, Katrina said: "The best thing about me and Salman coming together to work is that there's no sense of us taking it for granted. We don't go to the sets thinking, 'dekhte hai'. He knows that I'm going to come after putting 1000% of my time and effort behind finding the character, doing my prep. He has that confidence in me and I know when he comes, he's going to come up with something unique."
"We come and we do our scenes and rehearsals. That's how we work well together. There's no sense of taking anything easy or for granted. Also, we both have the same mindset when it comes to work. There's no discount from the audience. They aren't ready to give you that leeway anymore. You have to bring your heart and soul to a film. Sometimes, the audiences are a lot more forgiving and gentle when you're starting out. Now, there's a certain responsibility on us to deliver something of a certain standard to our audience. We both feel that," Katrina was quoted by a portal.
Meanwhie, the announcement of the film was made in a very special way with Akshay making a cameo appearance at Rohit Shetty's latest release, 'Simmba'. A text on the screen which said 'Simmba as Veer Sooryavanshi', chief of Anti-terrorism squad revealed that he will be taking charge in 2019.
