Bollywood actor Salman Khan who is currently prepping for 'Dabangg 3' has been dragged into a controversy after several pictures of a 'Shivling' covered with wooden planks started going viral on social media. Now, the line producer of the film has issued a clarification and said that a perimeter was constructed for the Shivlinga and that two people on the side were added to guard it and avoid people from walking on it.
"We had constructed the perimeter for the Shivlinga and had put the two people on the side to guard it to avoid people from walking on it. We had no intention of hurting anyone's religious sentiments and we have relocated the set", he wrote on Twitter.
The pictures also created a major controversy and triggered a fight between BJP and Congress BJP lawmaker Rameshwar Sharma, in a statement, said: "Incidents of religious sentiments of Hindus getting hurt have gone up ever since the Kamal Nath-led Congress government was formed in December last year."
Not just this, he also demanded an FIR against those who showed disrespect to Lord Shiva.
Meanwhile, the shooting of the film is currently going on in Madhya Pradesh and is slated to release in December this year.
