Seems like trouble hasn't ended for Bollywood actor Salman Khan's latest production 'LoveYatri' which marks the debut of his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma. The film that was initially titled 'Loveratri' was a subject of several controversies as some took objection over the initial title of the film 'Loveratri' which sounded similar to the festival of Navratri. Reportedly, this became a legal hassle for the makers of the film who then decided to give in and changed the title of the film to 'LoveYatri'. However, if reports are to be believed, the complainant is unhappy despite the change in the title and has demanded the film to be banned for according to him, the film depicts the lead pair falling in love during the festival of Navratri.

Objecting to the plot of the film, a certain BB Agarwal of the Sanatan Foundation has alleged that the promos of the film were offensive to a certain community for the film depicts that the traditional dance form of Garba is about love. As far as Navratri is concerned, it is the festival that celebrates the different avatars of the Goddess. Reports suggest that Agarwal further went on to accuse the makers of trying to encash on the festival of Navratri.

The council who represents Salman Khan Films, Salil Thakore, has responded to these allegations using the order from the Supreme Court of India which stated that the film certification and its likes are the responsibility of the experts and that it is best to be left with them for the decision on these cases. Salil also argued that the oversensitive claims, in this case, need not be protected.

Thakore's response further mentioned that the trailer of 'LoveYatri' was never looked upon as the festival in and neither did it promote the festival nor did it showcase any kind of immodest behaviour or scenes.

'LoveYatri' which also marks actress Warina Hussain's debut alongside Aayush Sharma, is set in the backdrop of the festival of Navratri. The trailer establishes Aayush Sharma's character as a Gujarati Garba teacher from Baroda who falls in love with a non-residential Indian girl played by Warina Hussain. 'LoveYatri' is helmed by Abhiraj Minawala and is written by Naren Bhatt. The film is slated to hit the theatres on October 5.
