Sanjay Dutt’s Torbaaz to release in March 2020?

Sanjay Dutt’s film, Torbaaz, is likely to be released next year. The movie was announced nearly three years ago, but the shoot for the film finished only last year. According to several reports, the film will be released around March 2020. The makers of Torbaaz are aiming for this date, even though they are yet to take a final call and make the official announcement. Reports also say that the post-production work on the film took some time and that is the major reason for the delay in the release of the movie.

About Torbaaz

Torbaaz is directed by Girish Malik and written by Bharti Jakhar and Girish Malik. The lead cast of the movie includes Nargis Fakhri and Rahul Dev, besides Sanjay Dutt.  Based in Afghanistan, Torbaaz is a story about the child suicide bombers of Afghanistan, who have been trained to believe that killing is a virtue and glory in the afterlife. Sanjay Dutt plays an Army Officer in the film who wants to give these ‘children of war’ a ray of hope. It marks the coming back of a man who has lost everything in life.

Sanjay Dutt will be seen on the big screen in several other movies in 2020. These movies include KGF Chapter 2, Sadak 2, Bhuj: The Pride of India, and Shamshera. Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming movie is Panipat , which will be hitting the theatres on December 6, 2019.
