Sanju teaser had sown the seeds of curiosity and the trailer fairly helps you join the dots...

It opens like a scene from Munnabhai and pans into the bigger picture - Sanjay Dutt's life. Ranbir Kapoor, who is seen in the titular role says, "Itna variety wala life aapko kidhar milega?"

And quick to begin is the rollercoaster ride... In a scene where he is giving an interview to a journalist played by Anushka Sharma, Ranbir as Sanju makes a few bold revelations about his relationships.

"Mein bewda hoon, tharki hoon, drug addict hoon, sab hoon...lekin terrorist nahi."

And the trailer traces back to March 13, 1993, when 'Bomb blasts rock Bombay' was a lead story in every day and reports mentioned the actor's alleged involvement in the criminal act. The trailer also meanders around the thoughts of a father and his belief that his son will be back and isn't 'finished'.

It begins with a gripping narration which follows you until the end. In a mere 3 minutes, it takes you through his life in and out of prison, his acquaintance with drugs and beyond it.

"The first time was when I was angry with my father, then when my mother was unwell and by the third time I was an addict," another dialogue that will stay with you.

The young Rocky actor's flamboyant personality has been executed to perfection. Ranbir Kapoor has aced Baba's (as Dutt is fondly known) gait, style and looks like his reflection, replica, clone - these are choicest words we bestow upon the actor. In a nutshell, it touches upon different aspects of a multi-faceted personality whom we know as Sanjay Sunil Dutt. The film helmed by Rajkumar Hirani revolves around the life of Sanjay Dutt and is said to be a biopic. It flaunts an ensemble cast, which includes Ranbir Kapoor in lead, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor and Jim Sarbh. Sanju' is scheduled to hit theatres on June 29. The film has been in the news ever since the release of its trailer and the audience has been waiting very patiently for the movie.
