Sanya Malhotra to star alongside 'Dangal' co-star Fatima Sana Shaikh in Anurag Basu's next, says she will soon start shooting for the film

Bollywood actress Sanya Malhotra is all set to share screen space with her 'Dangal' co-star Fatima Sana Shaikh once again as the actress recently confirmed that she is roped for director Anurag Basu's next venture. Revealing that she will soon start shooting for the film, the actress said that she is very much excited for the upcoming project.

"I will soon start shooting for Anurag Basu's film. I am looking forward to it," PTI quoted Sanya as saying. 

The yet untitled dark comic anthology, featuring a multi- starrer cast, including Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur and Pankaj Tripathi. Produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, the film is scheduled to release on September 6.

Previously, actor Rajkummar Rao announced the making of the projject and revealed that he is all set to star in it. The actor on January 17, took to social media and revealed that he is all set to share screen space with 'Dangal' actress Fatima Sana Shaikh for Basu's upcoming directorial venture. He also gave his fans a glimpse of the project as he shared a picture on Twitter where he and the actress can be seen standing beside a lake of what appears to be a heritage city recreating the dance movies of the '90s. In the picture which features the actors from the backside, the actor can be seen sporting an olive and black shirt, denim and black boots, while Fatima goes completely tradition wearing a maroon saree.

Although makers have not released many details about the film, media reports suggest that the yet untitled venture is made on the lines of his 2007 hit film 'Life In A Metro'. Reportedly, the film will be narrating stories of four individuals from four different parts of the country. 

Meanwhile, Sanya is also gearing up for the release of her upcoming venture 'Photograph' where she is all set to star opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film had its premiere at the ongoing  Sundance Film Festival in the US and will have a theatrical release on March.
