Satellite Shankar: Fans eagerly await Sooraj Pancholi’s next film

Sooraj Pancholi is all set to hit the theatres with his next film, Satellite Shankar. The actor was last seen in his debut film, Hero. The film will be Sooraj’s first film after four years. Satellite Shankar is being directed by Irfan Kamal. The film was initially slated to release on October 11, 2019, but the makers have pushed the film further ahead. The new dates of the release have not been revealed yet.

Why are fans waiting for the release of Satellite Shankar

Recently, Sooraj Pancholi shared a post on his Instagram account. In the post, he revealed that the shoot of the film has been completed. Fans have been eagerly awaiting to see Sooraj back on the silver screen. Sooraj Pancholi’s last film hit the right chord with the audience and was reportedly loved by a majority of people.

About the film

According to Sooraj Pancholi, Satellite Shankar is a heart-wrenching story about army men. He also felt that the movie needs to be revealed to the audiences. It is based on the real-life events of an army person. Contrary to what reports claimed, Sooraj also cleared the air that the movie has no international relations.

Sooraj Pancholi has reportedly collaborated with about 20 soldiers for a promotional song of Satellite Shankar. The film is dedicated to the hardships that army personnel go through regularly. Satellite Shankar has been vastly shot across Punjab, the South and in Himachal Pradesh near the China border. Satellite Shankar is reportedly the first movie to be shot across ten states in India.

The first look of Satellite Shankar was revealed by Sooraj’s mentor, Salman Khan early this year. The film also marks the Bollywood debut of South Indian actor Megha Akash. It is now being speculated that the Satellite Shankar will release in December 2019.
