The 'Race' actress Sameera Reddy, who is expecting her second child with husband Akshai Varde, recently attended an event where she bashed the trolls for body shaming her.
Giving out a strong answer, the actress said: "I want to ask one thing to the trollers... Where have you come from? You have come out of a mother only, was your mom very hot after you came out? It is shameful because it is such a natural process and it is so beautiful and amazing."
She also mentioned that not everyone can look hot like Kareena Kapoor Khan and said: "There are sexy ones like Kareena who come out looking hot and then there are people like me who take time (to get back in shape) and it took me time with the first baby and maybe it will take me time with the second baby too. But what's most important is to embrace yourself. And to all trolls: 'Say what you want guys, I think I have a superpower, I'm giving a birth to a baby.'"
The actress concluded by comparing how the times were when she had her first child and how people have changed now. Talking about it, she said: "I was like what people will expect, and how fast I will lose my weight. But now I feel different, cool, charming. I remember , I used to cover up a lot in my first baby but now I am like bring it on. I can also be hotter and pregnant. The women and men in our culture have become very accepting of pregnant woman and why not. It's nicer to be out now and I feel good about it."
Reddy got married to Akshai Varde, an entrepreneur on 21 January 2014 in a traditional Maharashtrian style. They had a son in 2015.
On the work front, Sameera was last seen in 2013 film 'Varadhanayaka'. The film marked her Kannada debut.
