Shah Rukh Khan is without the doubt one of the biggest stars and one of the most influential figures in the country. Other than movies, the actor has been dabbling in various projects and now he has joined hands with the Maharashtra government for a noble cause.
The 'Zero' actor was the part of the Mumbai 2.0 conclave. At the event, he met with the chief minister of the state Devendra Fadnavis. In pictures that have surfaced online, SRK can be seen sharing the stage with the politician and shaking his hand and posing for pictures. Then he went on to take the stage with Mr. Fadnavis and praised the minister at length. King Khan revealed how "CM sahab is his 4 am friend" and how he has texted him at odd hours for problems and has always gotten a prompt response.
The actor also apologized for being late to the conclave and stated that the reason was bad traffic, which he jokingly admits should be addressed first. The two eminent personalities came together to talk about the city and how its infrastructure and the quality of life can be improved. The conclave also included big industrial personalities and influential people from all walks of life.
Shah Rukh also took to Twitter to thank the minister for him giving him this opportunity and letting him share the dais. He wrote, "Thank u sir @Dev_Fadnavis for making me a part of Mumbai 2.0. This is our city and we will do everything with you to make it more creative, competitive & culturally inclusive. Aamchi Magical Mumbai."
