Salman Khan and Eid releases are synonymous with each other and ‘Bharat’ is the latest grand merger of the two. The buzz has been high since the film was announced and more so in the last few days with poster after poster coming up to introduce the characters. The unveiling of the trailer took this excitement a level higher and the action-drama-packed 3-minute video not just made fans go into a frenzy but even impressed the ‘Dabangg’ star’s actor-friend Shah Rukh Khan.

The trailer of ‘Bharat’ features Salman’s character Bharat and his journey alongside India’s journey of 71 years. From the tumultuous partition, becoming a stylish young bike rider in the circus, then a navy officer to searching for the answers even in old age, Bharat’s journey is filled with love, action and drama and numerous characters like Disha Patani, Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff and Nora Fatehi.

Salman's ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ co-star Shah Rukh Khan too echoed their sentiments by marveling over it, calling it ‘Kya baat hai bhai!! Bahut Khoob.’(What a trailer brother! Wonderful!).

Salman Khan and director Ali Abbas Zafar are striving to make it a hat-trick with ‘Bharat’ after the success of ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. The film, produced by Salman’s banner, T-Series and the actor’s sister Alvira and brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, hits the theatres on June 5.
