This Raksha Bandhan, while a lot of brothers promised to protect their sisters, Shah Rukh Khan promised a little more than that. On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Shah Rukh Khan promised respect for all the women. Sharing an endearing picture of daughter Suhana Khan with his youngest son Abram Khan, Shah Rukh Khan promised to teach his children to respect women which will make them a better and sensitive human being. In his Instagram post, Shah Rukh Khan wrote: "Raakhi done...with a promise in the family to respect all women. Respect for women will make u inspired, make u tender hearted & morally strong. Happy Raakhi to all ye bros out there...& respect to all sisters."

Shah Rukh Khan has a sister Lala Rukh Khan and the superstar is extremely protective about it when it comes to women around him. Shah Rukh Khan even initiated a movement during his film 'Chennai Express' (2013) that starred Deepika Padukone, to have his leading ladies names appear first in the credit roll.

Shah Rukh Khan who is known for his wittiness, mischievous attitude and charming nature, is a gentleman at heart. A favourite among his fans and media, Shah Rukh Khan never ceases to impress his audiences. Yet, at the same time, the superstar remains to be humble and grounded.  Recently, the superstar also made headlines for his contribution towards Kerala Relief Fund. Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly donated a sum of Rs. 21 lakhs to Chief Minister's Kerala Relief Fund.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan too made her debut on a magazine cover. Despite nepotism being the subject of debate for a long time, Shah Rukh Khan tries to refrain from it and wants his children to make it big with their own hardships. While a lot of Suhana's peers are stepping into Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan has maintained that his daughter will first have to complete her studies before making the big move.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan has his ambitious project 'Zero' up for release on December 21. Directed by Anand L.Rai, 'Zero' will see Shah Rukh Khan reunite with his 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' (2012) co-stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
