Shah Rukh Khan who is gearing up or the release of his upcoming film 'Zero' has seen 'Tumbbad' starring Sohum Shah in bits and pieces and is all praises. The 'My Name Is Khan ' actor went on to praise the dark fantasy backed by Aanand L Rai and called it an "extremely well-crafted film".
Shah Rukh saw the trailer of 'Tumbbad' and took to Twitter on Tuesday, September 25, to express his views on the same. In his tweet, the 'Rabb Ne Bana Di Jodi' actor said, "Saw bits of this extremely well-crafted film. A genre we normally don’t push boundaries in. Wishing my friends the best with this venture and hope u all watch it and enjoy it. #Tumbbad the Trailer."

'Tumbbad' is helmed by Adesh Prasad and Rahi Anil Barve. The film sees an extraordinary journey of a father and son who set out on a quest to find a hidden treasure. The film also stars Jyoti Malshe, Dhundhiraj Prabhakar Jogalekar, Anita Date, Deepak Damle, Ronjini Chakraborty and Mohammad Samad in pivotal roles.
Going by the trailer for the film, 'Tumbbad' breathes life into an ancient folklore of India. The film revolves around a family that leaves a village called Tumbbad where a mythical treasure is said to be guarded by a demon. The greed-driven father and son duo embark on a journey to find the hidden treasure and face the consequences of the same, which essentially forms the crux of the story.
'Tumbbad' premiered at the 75th Venice International Film Festival in the category of Critics' Week and happens to be the first Indian film to be screened at the acclaimed film festival. The film is backed by Eros Internatonal and Aanand L Rai's Colour Yellow Productions in association with Little Town Films. 'Tumbbad' is slated to release on October 12.
