Shah Rukh Khan also referred to as the King Khan of Bollywood is one of the famous film stars in the world. He has appeared in more than 80 movies and has earned numerous awards along with the Padma Shri. Shah Rukh Khan began his career with the movie Deewana in the year 1992, and since then he has come a long way. Just like other Bollywood actors, he was a part of various controversies.

Wankhede Stadium controversy

The King Khan of Bollywood got banned from entering Wankhede Stadium on May 16, 2012. The incident took place after Kolkata Knight Riders won against Mumbai Indians. Shah Rukh Khan was accused of manhandling a security guard and hurling abuses at security officials. Mumbai Cricket Association held Shah Rukh Khan for misbehaving and banned him from the stadium. Initially, it was a life-long ban but later it was lifted and was decreased to a five-year ban. Shah Rukh Khan reportedly denied the accusation and blamed the security officials for manhandling children.

Shah Rukh Khan and Shirish Kunder controversy

At a Bollywood party, there was a clash between Shah Rukh Khan and Shirish Kunder. Shah Rukh Khan allegedly slapped director Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder at Sanjay Dutt’s party that took place in Juhu in the year 2012. It was reported that Kunder stalked Shah Rukh Khan throughout the party, and when he was about to leave, King Khan allegedly lost his temper and pinned Kunder to a sofa and slapped him. Farah Khan was reportedly angry with her best friend Shah Rukh Khan but didn’t file an FIR against him.

Anti-PM comment controversy

When Bharatiya Janata Party was on the verge of winning the elections, there were reports about Shah Rukh Khan on social media. Shah Rukh Khan was accused of posting a tweet in which he was threating to leave India if Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister. The tweet wasn’t posted by him it was a misunderstanding that gave rise to a huge controversy. The tweet was put by Kamaal R Khan. Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to clear the misunderstanding. He captioned the tweet as,

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan controversy

This controversy was the most famous one and continued to make headlines for many days to come. There was a massive cold war that reportedly happened between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. The cold war started on the eve of Katrina Kaif’s birthday. It was reported that Shah Rukh Khan commented about Salman Khan's ex-girlfriend, Aishwarya Rai, and the argument did not end up on a good note. The cold war between the superstars lasted for five years.
