Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor who is currently basking the success of his latest release 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' is said to be currently working on the Hindi remake of a super hit Telugu film 'Arjun Reddy' that earlier featured Vijay Deverakonda in the titular role. Reportedly, the actor is quite excited about the film and wanted to try this part in the 'Arjun Reddy' remake and see what he can do with it. Apart from Arjun Reddy, the actor has the biopic on boxer Dingko Singh in his kitty. Recently, taking to the micro-blogging site, Twitter the actor revealed he is featuring in the remake of a music video titled 'Urvashi'. He tweeted "’90s AR Rahman hit and wrote: “Take it easy, #Urvashi.”

Reportedly, the music video is presented by Bhushan Kumar of T- Series and has been sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh. It is said to be an adaptation of AR Rahman’s 1990’s hit song, Urvashi. Alongside Shahid, the video is said to star the 'lust stories', Kiara Advani.

On the work front. Shahid Kapoor was last seen in 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' which is based on the social issues and highlights the exorbitant electricity bills one has to pay. As for Kiara Advani, she was last seen in the Netflix Original 'Lust stories' opposite Radhika Apte, Bhumi Pednekar and Monisha Koirala.
On the personal front, Shahid Kapoor is on cloud nine for his wife Mira Rajput Kapoor delivered their second child, a son, on September 5. The actor announced the name of his son on his social media accounts. The elated couple has named their son Zain.
