Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani transform into 'Kabir Singh' and Preethi in these new stills from the film

Shahid Kapoor, who was last seen in 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu', has begun working on his next project, which is 'Kabir Singh'. A remake of the acclaimed Telugu film 'Arjun Reddy', the film also stars Kiara Advani as the female lead. While the logo and release date of the pictures is already out, not many updates had surfaced about the Sandeep Vanga directorial, until now.

In a series of pictures and videos that have surfaced on social media, the two actors can be seen shooting for the film. Pictures have come out of a particular scene from the movie where Shahid's Kabir Singh can be seen taking Preethi for a bike ride. A video has also surfaced of the on-screen couple from their shooting spot in Delhi. Overall, these new updates will further amp up the excitement for the film.

Other than the inside pictures, the two actors also shared the looks of their respective characters on their Instagram. 'Kabir Singh' as a project was officially announced on October 26, 2018, and that the film will come out on June 21, 2019. Director Sandeep Vanga, who directed the Vijay Devarakonda starrer was roped in to direct the Hindi remake as well, which makes it his big Bollywood debut after making just one film in Tollywood.
