Shamshera: Ranbir Kapoor's unidentifiable avatar has internet floored

The much anticipated Yash Raj Films production Shamshera is due to release on July 31 next year. In the film's teaser, its leading man, Ranbir Kapoor can be seen saying a quirky dialogue which roughly translates to “Dacoit from Karam, Free from Dharam”.In a recent picture that has surfaced on the internet, Ranbir Kapoor can be seen donning a khadi vest along with dhoti sporting the rugged look. Other than that, the actor seems to have put on muscle weight and can be spotted standing amidst a village gathering. Take a look at the pictures below-

 What we know about the film so far: 

The film is set in the 1800s where a ‘dacoit’ tribe fights for their rights from the British conquerors. In the movie, Ranbir is seen in the role of the hero called Shamshera who is a dacoit leader and fights the antagonist of the film played by Sanjay Dutt. There are speculations that say we could also see Ranbir Kapoor in a double role The movie is set to release on July 31, 2020. The movie is produced by Yash Raj Films.

Apart from Shamshera, the actor will be seen in Brahmastra, which is touted to be a mythological action-adventure film. The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal roles. It is being directed by Ayan Mukerji, who previously directed Ranbir in 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'. The film is going to be the first part of a trilogy film series. With a high budget, the film is being produced under Dharma Productions.
