Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha, while speaking to IANS, spoke about the allegations levelled against Ghai, as the two share a good rapport, owing to the number of films they have worked together. While talking about the movement, he said that he is in support of the #MeToo movement, but feels that the movement has been blown out of proportion. He also said that he believes in innocent until proven guilty. The actor added that in his 40-year career, he has never misbehaved with any woman and treats them with respect.

Talking about the allegations made on Subhash Ghai, along with whom he has made some terrific films, like 'Kalicharan', 'Vishwanath', 'Khaan Dost', says that he will continue to work with the filmmaker, even if he is proven guilty and serves his punishment. The actor compared it with Sanjay Dutt, who has served his term in jail, after being accused of his involvement in the 1993 Mumbai bomb blast. Sinha said that, the 'Vaastav' actor is back in our "large-hearted" film industry. He also reminded that the people had no problem working with Sanjay Dutt even when he was accused in a serious case.
