Sheer Qorma poster: Swara Bhasker all set to break societal norms

After her last movie appearance in Veere Di Wedding, actor Swara Bhasker is back with an interesting film. The film, titled Sheer Qorma, is a forthcoming drama starring Swara Bhasker and Divya Dutta in the lead. Swara shared the poster of the film on her social media. Reportedly, the movie narrates the story of two women in love, and how they try to break the societal norm to sustain their love. The movie also stars Shabana Azmi, as Swara Bhasker's mother. 

Sheer Qorma is directed by Faraz Arif Ansari. The director was last associated with a short film, titled Sisak. The 20-minute short film has featured in 140 film festivals and is applauded by the critics and audiences respectively. Swara was last seen in Shashanka Ghosh's Veere Di Wedding. The movie had an ensemble cast consisting of Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Shikha Talsania, Swara Bhasker, among others. The movie was a box office hit and the critics lauded Swara's performance as Sakshi Soni. Reportedly the makers are working on the sequel to 2018 hit movie. Aside from the sequel of Veere Di Wedding, the actor is rumoured to also feature in a mini-series titled, Flesh.
