Actress Mahie Gill and the crew of ALTBalaji's upcoming web-series 'Fixer' got attacked by four unidentified goons while they were shooting for a web series in Mira Road, Thane.

They were reportedly shooting in a factory on Wednesday, June 19, when suddenly four drunk men tuned up and started attacking the cast and crew. The goons allegedly carrying rods and sticks manhandled the cast and has seriously injured Director of Photography, Santosh Tundyal, and director Soham Shah. The female crew members and artists were also attacked.

While talking about the incident, exclusively to Republic TV, actress Mahie Gill said, "I am in a state of shock right now. We were shooting since 7 o' clock in the morning and everything was going fine. All of a sudden, around 4-4:30 pm, 4 gundas turned up out of nowhere and started attacking. They were randomly hitting people. They came to attack me, I escaped to the car.  I saw them hitting our director Soham Shah who was on the ground. He was beaten up so badly that he almost fainted. Our DoP went to save them and they attacked him. He has got stitches on his head. They broke the vanity van, hit another crew, my driver was hurt, he couldn't lift his hand, it was terrible. I had to take DoP to the hospital."

"We could have taken a video of it, but everyone was running to save their lives. The goons didn't even demand anything, there was no conversation, they randomly came and started attacking. They were armed. There were no guns, but they had rods and sticks. Anyone could have died the way they were hitting," she added.

Further, mentining how they were harassed by the Police, she said, "The police came but they were supporting the gundas, they didn't help at all. They charged us money to take out things back."

When asked if they have launched, or is planning to launch an FIR, she said, "We didn't file an FIR as the police are with them. They are the real gundas."

"Even if we launch FIR they will be out in bail after some time, and nothing will happen. Only we will be fighting the case. So we want to take the issue to higher authorities. I want the Chief Minister to know about it and this gets viral," she stated.

"This has never happened in the industry. I think we consider Mumbai very safe. We shoot during late nights, but nothing like this has ever happened before," she added further.

Following the incident, a video was put out by the crew members from the shoot location, where they said that the goons reportedly claimed to own the place and said that they are not allowed to shoot without permission, despite the cast having valid permission to shoot. In the video, they also claimed that the police patrol came inside the compound and seized the place. They demanded money to release their instruments.
