Varun Dhawan and Taapsee Pannu's fun-filled Twitter banter ahead of 'Kalank' release have left netizens in splits.

Bollywood actors Varun Dhawan and Taapsee Pannu who shared screen space in 2017 film 'Judwaa 2' are known to very good friends. As Varun's film 'Kalank' is all set to hit the theatres on Wednesday, April 17, a special screening of the same was organized in Mumbai a day earlier and it was attended by several Bollywood celebrities. But Tapsee gave it miss as she is currently in Delhi owing to her work commitments. However, in a recent social media post, she confirmed that she will be watching the film in the national capital. 

Announcing the grand premiere of 'Kalank' on Wednesday, April 17, Varun shared a poster of the film on Twitter and requested fans to not give out spoilers. In the post, he wrote, "KALANK in theatres now #Zafar aap ka hain. A character I loved playing in this epic love story. No spoilers, please"

Tapsee commented on Varun's post saying, "All the best !!!!! Gonna watch it in Delhi"

Following the same, Varun further replied to his 'Judwaa 2' co-star drawing reference to her upcoming venture 'Saand  Ki Aankh', which is a biopic on the life of Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar, who are said to be among the world’s oldest sharpshooters. He said, "Shooter dadi thank u lots of love"

Taapsee will be starring alongside Bhumi Pednekar in the film and they are currently busy shooting for the same. Recently, they unveiled their first look posters from the film which is scheduled to release on October 25, this year.

Meanwhile, Set in the 1940s pre-Independence India, 'Kalank' is said to be a tale of eternal love. It is helmed by director Abhishek Verman and stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt in the lead. Jointly produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala, and Fox Star Studios, the film premieres today.
