Actress Shraddha Kapoor who until now has played bubbly roles is all set to scare the audience out of their wit, with her character in the upcoming film 'Stree'. The teaser of the film that released a month ago had everyone creeped out. The one-minute long teaser is spooky enough to give you goosebumps. The teaser and poster for the movie were released on June 6 on several social media platforms.  

The movie directed by Amar Kaushik is slated to release on August 31. Every movie makers are today looking for unique ways to promote their film so that their work stands out among the clutter of films that release every year. Shraddha Kapoor is a step ahead, as she deleted all her Instagram posts for the promotion of her upcoming film, 'Stree'. 

The 'Ek Villain' actress now has only three posts on her Instagram page, which when combined read out the film's tagline, 'Mard Ko Dard Hoga' (The pain will be suffered by men) 

Shraddha Kapoor boasts of more than 22 million followers on Instagram. It must have definitely raised the curiosity of her millions of followers when she must have deleted her Instagram posts all of a sudden. The film also stars Rajkummar Rao and is presented by Dinesh Vijan of 'Cocktail' fame. Recently, Shraddha Kapoor's look from the film was revealed and we must say the once cheery girl will definitely scare you on screen. However, we cannot help but notice the uncanny resemblance of Shraddha's look to that of 'The Nun' that appeared in the 'Conjuring' series.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR SHRADDHA KAPOOR? 

 On the work front, Shraddha Kapoor is busy shooting 'Batti Gul Meter Chaalu' opposite Shahid Kapoor. The film's release had got postponed recently. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film is now slated to release on September 21. The actress will also be seen alongside the 'Baahubali' star Prabhas in the multi-lingual movie titled 'Sahoo'.  The film will also star Neil Nitin Mukesh and the film is reportedly one of the most expensive films of Indian cinema. Some of the scenes of 'Saaho' have been shot at the famous Burj Khalifa.  Shraddha is slated to begin shooting for the biopic on ace Badminton player, Saina Nehwal. The movie will be helmed by Amole Gupte.
