Shraddha Kapoor questions BMC for granting permissions to chop down 2700 trees

Shraddha Kapoor spoke to Republic Media Network on the sidelines of the protest and extended a message to fellow citizens.

"All of us are here to support mother nature. There is already so much pollution, how can the BMC give permission to chop down more trees? 2700 plus trees are sent to be cut and permission for it is granted. This is ridiculous, this can't happen" Shraddha Kapoor said.

Further urging fellow citizens to join the movement to save Mumbai's lungs- the Aarey Forest, she added, "I am a citizen of Mumbai and so I am a part of this movement. We are trying to make a difference and I would like to urge every Mumbaikar to come forward and save Aarey."
