Simmba Box Office: Holidays Are Over But Ranveer Singh Starrer Still Rages On As It Inches Towards Rs 150 Crore

Ranveer Singh couldn't have asked for a better end to the year 2018 than with the release of 'Simmba'. The Rohit Shetty directorial has set the box office on fire ever since its release. Moreover, it made full use of the holiday season and blasted past Rs 100 crore within the first five days. Now, the sixth-day collections are in and there is literally no stopping this cop with an attitude.

According to a report from trade analyst Taran Adarsh, 'Simmba' has had a phenomenal sixth day as well as it minted Rs 14.49 crore. Now, considering the fact that it is the middle of the week and the holidays are over, these numbers are incredible. With this day's collection, the total of Ranveer and Sara Ali Khan starrer has hit Rs 139 crore. At this rate, it can be easily expected to cross Rs 150 crore tomorrow as it will complete a week's run in cinema halls.

Right from the start, 'Simmba' had winner written all over it as on its very first day, it raked in Rs 20.72 crore, thus becoming the highest opener for Ranveer in his entire career. The honour was previously held by 'Padmaavat'. What's even more incredible is that the cop flick crossed Rs 50 crore in terms of overseas collections, which is something exceptional and record-breaking.
