Ranveer Singh is the man who is currently ruling the film industry. His latest film 'Simmba' became a smashing success and it continues to attract people to the cinema halls. The film had already collected more than Rs 130 crore in just six days. Now, the numbers are in for the entire week and it looks absolutely unstoppable.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film earned a whopping Rs 11.78 crore on the seventh day. It is quite an impressive number considering it is middle of the week and the film has been in cinema halls for a while. With the addition of Thursday's collections, the Rohit Shetty directorial has now easily crossed Rs 150 crore as the total now stands at Rs 150.81, and it is just in the country.
The collections of the film abroad are even more astonishing as it is estimated to have hit the Rs 60 crore mark in a week's time. This means that 'Simmba' has earned Rs 210 crore or more within a week's time worldwide. For a film that was not mounted on a super lavish budget, this spells a clear-cut blockbuster.
At the moment it looks like there is no stopping the film and as the weekend is nearing, the collections may even get a boost as there isn't any clear competition in sight for a week. Meanwhile, the actor has been left the netizens awestruck with the teaser of 'Gully Boy', which looks like another promising venture that could provide humongous success to Ranveer early on in the year.
