For the film, reports suggest that, Ajay Devgn will most probably be seen as Bajirao Singham again and is likely to make an appearance in the climax. Rohit and Ranveer had shared the making video previously where we saw not just the actor, but even the filmmaker beat up the baddies. The movie is an adaptation of the Telugu movie, 'Temper' starring Junior NTR. However, Rohit had clarified that 'Simmba' will only be an adaptation and that he will make the movie in his own style. Karan Johar's Dharma Productions is also among the producers of the movie, and it is also the first collaboration between the two popular filmmakers. 'Simmba' releases on 28 December, however, it faces box office threat in the form of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Zero' that will be releasing just a week before. The movie will also be Ranveer's first release after his marriage with Deepika Padukone on November 14 and 15.
