Everyone wants to age as the recent fad of FaceApp Age Old filter gets trending on social media. FaceApp challenge, that has now come with possible privacy scare, has been tried by everyone - from celebrities, to users all over the world.
Internet and Union Minister Smriti Irani's take on the same is quite safe and hilarious, courtesy Ekta Kapoor. Irani posted a throwback picture from her cult TV serial 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', a real photo where she aged with grey hair and wrinkles, all thanks to Ekta Kapoor, the maker of the show.
Take a look at the picture. Ekta immediately replied and said: "...and u do it like a boss!!! It was d third leap na ." To which Smriti replied "@ektaravikapoor there were so many leaps I forgot."
Meanwhile, at this point in time, FaceApp’s privacy is being questioned by a cross-section of users. A United States of America (USA) senator has even called for the FBI to check on these aspects. Like always, privacy issues seem to have bogged FaceApp as well, It would be desirable for the company to educate users as to how their perosnal information is used.
What is FaceApp
FaceApp can fetch photos on your phone and make you smile (only in your photos). We first heard about this app in 2017 - when the term AI had just started to be a part of our everyday vocabulary. So, there's absolutely nothing new about the app and this is probably the second time it has gone viral since its introduction. Earlier, the app had gone viral because it was new and yes, it undeniably has certain exciting features that make it desirable.
