Sonam Kapoor reveals how she planned her wedding along with her father Anil Kapoor on sets of 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga'

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor who is all set to star in upcoming romantic drama 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga', recently reveals that she simultaneously planned her wedding with Anand Ahuja, along with her father Anil Kapoor, while working on 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga'. The actress who tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Anand Ahuja earlier this year said that working with father Anil Kapoor for the film ahead of the wedding was beneficial as they used to discuss the same while shooting for the upcoming project. In a promotional event of the film on Monday, the Bollywood diva revealed the father-daughter duo used to discuss the wedding on the sets, in between takes.

"When we were shooting the film, my wedding was being planned. So not much time was wasted as we used to plan my wedding on sets, in between takes. In a way, it was a godsend that we did this film together right before the wedding, otherwise, I don't know how we would've found the time to meet each other," PTI quoted her as saying.

Sonam tied the knot with Businessman Anand Ahuja after dating him for over four years on May 8, 2018, in Mumbai. The grand wedding was attended by several A-listers from Bollywood including Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, among others. The couple has been setting major relationship goals ever since.

Meanwhile, this is going to be the first time Sonam Kapoor will be sharing screen space with the 'Mr. India' actor. Sharing her experience of the same, the actress said she was extremely nervous to work with her father. 

Talking about the same, PTI quoted her as saying, "Our relationship on set was very professional. But honestly, I was very scared on the first day. I was very nervous, hadn't slept the night before, was very stressed out."

Again, the Bollywood diva further praised father Anil Kapoor for his interest in learning new things and said that she would like to inherit the same. 

The Neerja actress reportedly said, "Curiosity dies in some people after they grow up. My dad, in a very nice way, hasn't grown up. He is still so curious. When you are curious, you always feel you're a student. I think that is a quality I hope I imbibe from him. To constantly learn, ask questions, be better and to never think I've done enough."

Coming to the upcoming venture, The film is making the headlines owing to its unique content of homosexuality. It extends a strong message of love and acceptance. Beside the father-daughter duo, the film also stars Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla in the lead.  'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga' is all set to hit the theaters on February 1, 2019.
