Has there been any tweak in the script of ‘Sooryavanshi’? While the announcement poster of the movie witnessed lead actor Akshay Kumar in the police uniform, the first still doesn’t feature him in one and the director Rohit Shetty proudly expressed, ‘No Uniforms.’ The actor's character is still playing a police officer, but of the ‘Ghost department’, the Anti-Terrorism Squad of the force.

Rohit recently shared the first still from the movie as ‘Sooryavanshi’ went on floors. One can see Akshay wearing civil attire in it as he is accompanied by the other members of his team including Vivan Bhatena as they walked by the corridor.

Not just the lack of a uniform, the director also highlighted ‘no marked car’, as was seen in his hit cop film ‘Singham’.

Rohit wrote, “No Uniforms...No Marked Cars...ANTI TERRORISM SQUAD - The GHOST department of our Police Force...SOORYAVANSHI @akshaykumar.”

Karan Johar' banner Dharma Productions too shared the still and captioned it, "Justice, their motto. Peace, their service."

Since the first posters of the movie saw the actor in the police uniform, it’s possible that there might have changes in the script and he probably won't be the conventional cop as shown by Ranveer Singh aka 'Simmba' and Ajay Devgn's 'Singham.'

Nevertheless, the first still of Akshay in this no-nonsense cop avatar is impressive.

It was on Monday that the movie had gone on floors and other members of the cop universe, ‘Singham’ Ajay Devgn and ‘Simmba’ Ranveer Singh were also present at the launch.

‘Sooryavanshi’, also stars Katrina Kaif and the movie is gearing up to release on Eid 2020.
