'Such a waste of resources': Netizens aren't happy with 'What the Love? With Karan Johar' announcement by Netflix

After showcasing Karan Johar's 'Lust Stories' on Netflix, the platform made yet another announcement on Saturday — Netflix decided to gift Karan Johar his own dating show on the platform on his birthday today.

Netflix India took to its Twitter handle and wrote: "This is probably not how presents work but on the occasion of his birthday we’ve decided to gift ourselves a dating show hosted by @karanjohar. What The Love? With Karan Johar, coming to Netflix! @BBCStudiosIndia"

But minutes later, Netizens started bombarding the post with various memes and comments. While a few were excited about the show, majority of them were left disappointed. One user wrote: "Netflix india you better be joking 🙃 don’t bring this trash or else Imma unsubscribe 🗣🗣🗣"

For those unaware, Karan Johar also hosted a radio programme called 'Calling Karan', where he gave out advice on love and relationships to the callers.

On the professional front, Karan will be directing the multi starrer 'Takht' which stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor. On the production side, KJo has films lined up like 'Good News', Gunjan Saxena biopic, 'Shershaah', 'Brahmastra' and 'Drive'.
