Sunny Leone Announces Second Season Of Her Biopic Web Series 'Karenjit Kaur -The Untold Story'

Adult film actress turned Bollywood actress Sunny Leone translated her life on the visual medium in a web series titled ‘Karenjit Kaur- The Untold Story’. The series focuses on her journey as she goes from being Karenjit Kaur, a little girl who was body shamed to one of the most popular adult star- Sunny Leone. Unlike other biopics, this is not a sneak peek into Sunny's life by another actor, but she herself is narrating her life story in as honest a way as possible.

After the success of the first season of her biopic, the actress has announced about season 2 of her biographical web series. Taking to Twitter she posted a picture of herself from the sets of season 2 of the web series. Announcing about the next season, she wrote, "GUILTY!! Of doing it my way! You all got to know us and now live the journey through our eyes! #karenjitkaur season 2 coming soon! @ZEE5India @freshlimefilms @namahpictures @adidatt Bijay Anand Grusha Kapoor Karam Vir Lamba"

The first season had 10 episodes and largely traced her childhood and what led her to become an adult film star. Her life takes a turn in 2001 when she gets selected in the men's magazine Penthouse's 'Pet’ at the age of 19.  Her family is happy that their daughter earns, however they are also worried about the source. It also shows a glimpse of Sunny's relationship with her brother Sundeep, who stands by her and supports her career path.

However, before the release of the series, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) had raised objection against the use of the name Kaur in the title of the biopic as the usage would hurt Sikh sentiments as Sunny did not follow the teachings of the Sikh Gurus. However, it did not affect the makers or sunny Leone from releasing her biopic and the name remained unchanged, even for the second season.
