It’s almost 30 months (‘Kaabil’ in January 2017) since audiences have seen Hrithik Roshan on the big screen, but the gap it seems has been compensated with his latest offering ‘Super 30.’ Not just audiences even celebrities are loving the actor’s story based on mathematician-Super 30 Founder Anand Kumar. As the biopic hit the screens on Friday, there were praises galore on social media for the venture.
Meanwhile, during a media interaction, the 'Super 30' founder was asked to react to Hrithik Roshan's portrayal of him in the film. Responding to the question, Kumar said, "The journey has been very special and Hrithik ji has completely taken over the soul of my character. Each time I watch the film, his brilliance with the performance just surprises me. From my pain to my happiness, I feel I am looking at myself on the screen. The response that I have been receiving from the audience has been extremely overwhelming."
In a prior interview with ANI, Kumar revealed that he is suffering from an acoustic neuroma, which is a rare form of brain tumour. "The film writer's wanted that I permit for the film as quickly as possible. You have no idea of life and death, so I wanted this biopic to be made while I am alive," he said.
Narrating an incident dated in 2014, the celebrated educationalist stated that he was unable to hear from the right ear and had to undergo a lot of treatment and tests. Giving specifics, he said that he had checked into Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi and it was the doctors there who first broke the news of the medical issue.
The film revolves around a mathematical genius in Bihar who opens an institute to teach the underprivileged children. Under the 'Super 30' initiative, Anand trained Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) aspirants crack the entrance exam to the prestigious institute.
