From 'Accidental Prime Minister' to Hrithik Roshan's 'Super 30', it's raining biopics in Bollywood. While many of the films had a tiff between its box office success and critic review, 'Super 30' has got a unanimous thumbs up from both audience and critics. The film which is based on the life of Bihar based mathematician-educationalist Anand Kumar is been doing well at the box office.
While viewers have praised Hrithik widely for his performance in the film, recently, the actor shared a BTS video on Instagram where he can be seen prepping for the film. Hritik who previously in an interview with Republic Media Network revealed the deep connection he felt with the language and culture of Bihar, in the video revealed how he mastered the same.
In the video, the actor said that it was a fun-filled journey for him to break through his 'urban sophistication' to get closer to the character he played. In the video, he revealed that the very first sacrifice he had to make was to allow himself to look unfit.
"I am love with the Bihari accent because it has got such a beautiful blend of the vulnerable and the strong. It has been a long journey I practiced Bihari every day for 2-3 hours. Another thing I used to do was jibberish, it helped my vocal cords, my cheek muscles, my tongue muscles, that are used to talk." he said in the video.
"It was kinds awkward to scratch in place your body", he says laughing.
"I just did not want to get closer to the character I was aiming to portray, I wanted to go deeper. I had to get rid of the urban sophistication, westernized grace that I have been aspiring for," he added.
"We used a tool, talking abusive language so that you open up. I had to break out and force my way though, use abuse to set myself free." the 'Krrish actor continued saying."
"I did all of it naturally I think. I really must have been a Bihari in my past life, I swear," Hrithik concluded saying.
