Super 30: Vice President Venkaiah Naidu ‘deeply Moved’ As He Lauds Hrithik Roshan & Anand Kumar, Here's Hrithik's Reply

After earning praises from audiences, even the top officials are taking note of Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Super 30.’ Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar declared the education drama tax-free in the state and now the film has bowled over the Vice President of the country, Venkaiah Naidu. The Vice President said he was ‘deeply moved’ by the story of Anand Kumar, the mathematician-educationist and founder of Super 30, on whom the movie is based on. Naidu also stated that he was impressed with the performance of Hrithik and the supporting cast, while congratulating the makers for showcasing the ‘missionary zeal’ of the teacher.

The makers of ‘Super 30’ held a screening for the Vice President at the Uprashtrapati Bhawan, in New Delhi on Wednesday. Apart from Hrithik and Kumar, the others who were present were producer Sajid Nadiadwala, Anand Kumar’s brother Pranav Kumar and the Vice President’s family members. 

Sharing pictures from the meet, Naidu tweeted, “Happy to have watched the movie ‘Super 30’ along with the lead actor of the film Shri Hrithik Roshan, Producer Shri Sajid Nadiadwala, Shri Anand Kumar and my family members, at Uprashtrapati Bhawan, in New Delhi today.” 

He praised Kumar, “I was deeply moved by the inspirational story of Shri Anand, who fought against all odds to provide a brighter future for impoverished children."  

Naidu also added, “I also laud efforts of Shri Anand for starting #Super30 coaching centre & appreciate his efforts in tracking talented students from economically backward sections of society & for honing their skills by providing training."

He also sent a message to the makers, “I congratulate the producers of the movie #Super30 for showcasing the dedication, commitment and the missionary zeal of a Teacher who worked tirelessly to realize the dreams of hundreds of bright students."  

He further continued, “The movie depicts the life and struggles of a brilliant mathematician Shri Anand Kumar who coaches 30 underprivileged students for IIT-JEE Entrance Exam each year.” 

About Hrithik stepping into the shoes of Anand Kumar, Naidu wrote, “I was hugely impressed by the performances of Shri Hrithik Roshan, the supporting cast and other actors."

Hrithik was touched by the positive comments to the movie from the Vice President and replied, “Your words of encouragement mean the world to us, so grateful to have received yours and the entire family’s feedback and love for the movie. Thank you so much for your valuable words Sir."

Even Anand Kumar was humbled. He tweeted, “It was an overwhelming experience today when Vice President Hon’ble M. Venkaiah Naidu described the inspiring and motivating after watching it with us and his family at his residence. Thank you so much sir for your encouraging words.” 

‘Super 30’, also starring Mrunal Thakur, Nandish Sandhu and Pankaj Tripathi, has been directed by Vikas Bahl, and has earned close to Rs 65 crore in five days at the box office.
