Filmmaker Karan Johar has shared a quite incredible video of what may be the most star-studded private flight in the history of Bollywood.
The video is of the B-town delegation that went to meet the Prime Minister on Thursday, and includes (in order) Ranveer Singh, Ayushman Khurrana, Varun Dhawan, Rohit Shetty, Ranbir Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Ashwini Iyer-Tiwari, Rajkummar Rao and Sidharth Malhotra. It's recorded by Karan Johar.
Karan Johar has shot it in his well-known 'toodles' format and manages to get each of the stars to respond to him, many in their own typical ways, Ranveer Singh's characteristic exuberance being a prime example.
The group appears to be having a great time on the flight, and bursts into peals of laughter when Varun Dhawan resorts to a spot of self-promotion, prompting Rohit Shetty to claim that ABCD 3 is in the works.
Alia Bhatt, sipping coffee, blushes when Karan Johar turns the camera her way, while Ayushman Khurrana gives viewers a hint as to whether it's the flight to Delhi or back to Mumbai when he clarifies that it's evening, implying the latter. Khurrana also wishes Vicky Kaushal the best of luck for his film Uri: The Surgical Strike that has just come out.
Finally, Rajkummar Rao and Sidharth Malhotra who were having their own conversation in another section of the flight are brought into the video as well and greet viewers.
The mega-delegation had travelled to the national capital on Thursday to meet the Prime Minister. They posted a number of photos and selfies of the meet and thanked him for the government's decision to reduce GST for films.
