Bollywood actor Sushmita Sen, who celebrates her 44th birthday, is a role model for many people in the country. The boss lady was the first Indian woman to win Miss Universe 1994 pageant. Sushmita marked her acting debut with Mahesh Bhatt’s drama flick Dastak opposite Mukul Dev and Sharad Kapoor in the prominent roles. The self-made woman has been a part of numerous commercially successful movies including David Dhawan’s Biwi No. 1, Farah Khan’s Main Hoon Na, and Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Aankhen amongst others. The comedy-drama movie featuring Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Sushmita Sen in the lead roles was an instant hit right after its release. Biwi No. 1 also stars Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Tabu in prominent roles. This David Dhawan directorial flick emerged out to be the second-highest grosser of that year and garnered acclamation from the critics and the audience alike.

Amongst other magical songs from this movie, Chunari Chunari was a popular track during that time. The song presented Sushmita Sen grooving to the beats of the music. Even now this song makes us run towards the dance stage while humming the lyrics alongside. Earlier this year, Sen also took to Instagram and shared a video that showcasing her dance on this song on the occasion of her nephew’s wedding in the capital city of New Delhi.

This romantic number presents the unmissable chemistry between a college-goer Shah Rukh Khan and a gorgeous professor portrayed by Sushmita Sen in Farah Khan’s directorial debut flick Main Hoon Na.
