On Friday, the Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal starrer titled, ‘Manmarziyaan ’ hit the silver screen. The much-awaited come back of junior Bachchan to the movies has proven to win over Bollywood. While the box office collection of this film is still awaited, members of the Hindi film fraternity took to Twitter to laud the performance of the lead actors.

After watching the film filmmaker, Karan Johar shared a heartfelt post captioned, “Their is so much of loveliness in @KanikaDhillon’s writing!! She captures the emotional beats with ease and expertise! The performances are extraordinary! A superbly solid, silent and sensitive portrayal by @juniorbachchan !! So so proud of his work!!! He is so amazing !”

Following this Tweet, the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ director hailed Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal, except he tagged the wrong handle of the actress.

An evidently upset Taapsee called out the director for this mistake as she Tweeted the following, "Karan u need to start tagging me correctly now ! I always end up missing these compliments on my timeline !!!!! I have worked hard for it!"

Arjun Kapoor, known for the friendly camaraderie he shares with fellow Bollywood actors and actresses took this as an opportunity to poke fun at Karan Johar’s mistake.

The actor, “I’ll hug u after I see the film * tagging that’s so last season”.

To which Karan Johar cautioned the actor writing, “You must tag her right if and when you do! She gets very upset otherwise”

DAY 1: BOX OFFICE COLLECTION

Directed by  Anurag Kashyap, 'Manmarziyaan' marks Abhishek Bachchan’s come back as he was last seen in 2016's romantic comedy 'Housefull 3'. Meanwhile, according to film critic and trade analyst  Taran Adarsh revealed the film has had a slow start. Revealing box office collections on Day 1, he Tweeted,

“#Manmarziyaan has a low Day 1... Started on a dull note in the morning, but picked up towards evening... North circuits were better... Biz will scale upwards on Sat and Sun [a norm these days], but real test will be on weekdays... Fri ₹ 3.52 cr. India biz.”
